Alchemy Through the Tarot I: Calcination - Burning Away the Ego

Transformation begins with fire. Calcination asks us to confront the identities, defenses, and illusions that cannot survive the heat of honest examination. What falls away as an impostor, and what remains as a divine guide?
In the opening class of Alchemy Through the Tarot, Isabel Gareau will explore Calcination through The Emperor, The Star, and The World, alongside the zodiacal and planetary archetypes of Aries, Aquarius, and Saturn. Participants will use the Tarot as a guide for examining the ego and identifying what is ready to be released.
This class can be attended on its own or as the beginning of the complete seven-week journey.

Tea & Tiles: Hong Kong-Style Mahjong Night
Wednesday, September 16, 2026 - 7 PM
Gather around the table for an intimate evening of handcrafted tea, traditional Hong Kong-style Mahjong, and community connection.
The evening begins with a tea-tasting and crafting station led by Christine Young of Hearth and Seoul Herbal Shop, where guests can explore teas and create a preparation of their own. Once everyone has settled in, players will gather at three tables of four for Mahjong.
New to Hong Kong-style Mahjong? Hien Kim will begin with a demonstration and guide beginners through the rules and rhythms of play. Experienced players will be grouped together so they can begin playing right away, with support available throughout the evening.
Christine Young is a Korean American herbalist, writer, and owner of Hearth and Seoul Herbal Shop, a Denver tea and apothecary shop rooted in Korean cultural influence and community herbal care. Hien Kim is a local realtor and community builder who loves the way Mahjong creates friendships and brings people together.
Beginners and experienced players are equally welcome. Space is limited to 12 players.
Alchemy Through the Tarot II: Dissolution - Wading into the Depths

After the fire comes water. Dissolution invites us beneath the surface, where certainty softens and the deeper self begins to speak. What can we learn when we surrender the need to remain untouched by our own interior world?
Isabel Gareau will guide participants through the alchemical process of Dissolution using The High Priestess, The Chariot, and The Moon, together with the archetypes of Pisces, Cancer, and the Moon. Through these symbols, we will explore intuition, emotional immersion, and the wisdom found within uncertainty.
This class stands alone, although attending the full series offers a deeper understanding of the complete alchemical journey.

Curiosities Under Glass: A Butterfly Mini World Workshop
Wednesday, September 23, October 7, and October 21, 2026 - 6:30 PM
Create an enchanting miniature world filled with natural curiosities. Each participant will receive a small glass cloche, a real pinned butterfly or moth specimen, dried flowers and herbs, colorful moss, a unique crystal or stone, and an assortment of ephemeral details.
Guided by Alayna of Moon Moth Curios, you’ll arrange these elements into a one-of-a-kind miniature environment that feels like a tiny world preserved beneath glass. No two creations will be alike, and your completed cloche is yours to take home.
All materials are included.

Pinned & Preserved: An Insect Pinning Workshop

Enter the intricate world of insect preservation with Alayna of Moon Moth Curios. This hands-on workshop introduces the process of preparing insect specimens in a relaxation chamber before pinning, explores different positions and presentation styles, and teaches the foundational techniques used to create beautifully preserved specimens.
Participants will receive a Styrofoam pinning board and needles to use during the workshop and take home for their next specimen. Display shadowboxes are not included but will be available to purchase separately.
