FEATURED ARTIST

Alayna Grace-Flavin

Moon Moth Curios

Alayna is a self-proclaimed "weirdo, nerdy, queer and boss b**ch"-and exudes an unapologetic energy that is all-inclusive. She is the visionary behind Moon Moth Curios, where her love of art, entomology, body positivity, and kink come together in bold and cathartic creations. She has taught classes using earthly mediums to craft healing, expressive art, and has built a reputation for curating spaces that blend creativity, community, and liberation.

As a mother to two confident, whip-smart (and delightfully chaotic) daughters, Alayna embodies the balance of fierce self-love, advocacy and heart-forward leadership. Community service is in her bones—she grew up trading Sundays at church for Sundays volunteering—and she continues to weave that spirit of service into everything she does.

Antoinette Peshek

Unbound Strands

Antoinette Peshek is a self-taught experimental fiber and mixed media artist based in Denver, Colorado. She was first handed a hook and skein as a young child to occupy anxious, self-destructive hands, and found escape from a difficult childhood in working with yarn. Over the course of several decades and an eclectic collection of careers, fiber work served as an anchor and an outlet. In 2022, she began creating textile art pieces that convey surreal and macabre motifs in dreamy landscapes, playing with texture, detail, and vivid color. Inspired by surrealism, absurdism, and magic realism, she works to develop new and unexpected mixed-textile and mixed-media techniques to serve the deeply personal themes of her work — trauma and recovery, revolution and resistance, queerness, existentialism, and environmentalism, but above all the joy of being alive and able to play with yarn and with art in this moment.

Dawson Schafer

Oficado

A Colorado born and raised up and coming artist, designer and dreamer with an affinity for the esoteric and metaphysical reality of life, death and rebirth. I love painting anatomical studies, researching nature, and reflecting my personal experiences into my work. My goal is to inspire others and provide a whimsical safe space in an otherwise dreary world. Through my unabashed sense of self I hope to give others permission to do the same in their own lives in whatever they choose to pursue, and that extends beyond painting. Art has been the most healing journey I've gone through - and I hope it heals you too in more ways than one. In my own life I know the struggles modern life presents us and how depressing it can be to even just wake up sometimes. If I can give even just a tiny bit of relief for just a second I feel I have done my part in healing this world. Blessings, and if you made it this far in reading this I thank you.
